Attention: Burr Bros. customers and reps

Do you think that adding an online design capability for vinyl lettering would be useful?

Customers might save a little money on layout, maybe $50.00.  So by doing the layout themselves for a $200.00 job, they might pay $150.00.

Similarly, customers installing the job themselves might save time amounting to $100.00 or $200.00 labor.

Is this a good idea?

On one hand, a customer might pay $150.00 out-of-pocket for a $300.00-$400.00 job.

On the other hand, there is the risk of failure.  You could have inferior proportions, bad measurements, or failed installation.  Then you have the cost of removing the failed job before starting again.

  1. Saving money is always good, and I like your capability to use a customers layout, however your
experience of what can and does go wrong with lettering boats (we have seen some good examples)and
the way a name and hail will look
as a finished product, is way more valuable than the ability to save dollars.
